Welcome to our world

HAM follows the contented life of Rabbit – capturing daily adventures, sporting escapades and social outings in silhouette form on a range of thoughtfully crafted wares.

HAM’s debut homeware collection of ceramics and fabrics were first picked up by Liberty and have since been exhibited in London, New York and Paris, featured on the pages of international magazines and resided on the shelves of leading retailers in over thirty countries around the world, including Conran, Centre Pompidou, Colette and West Elm.

About Jo Ham

HAM is the brainchild of artist and illustrator Joanna Ham who gained a BFA Fine Art with a specialism in anatomy from Oxford University's Ruskin School of Art.

Jo’s work seeks to celebrate the everyday. Informed by her studies and early career in design, she has always been fascinated by popular culture and uses Rabbit to shine a light on life’s simple pleasures - in particular how we interact with one another through work and play.

The resulting social commentary creates HAM's happy world, where our daily rituals, likes and hobbies are immortalised in print for all to enjoy.

In 2018, Jo was awarded Natwest's UK Creative Industries Entrepreneur of the Year and in 2019 the Aviva Women of the Future Arts and Culture Prize.

September 2023 sees the launch of Jo’s first series of children’s picture books in partnership with Walker Books UK, Candlewick Press America and Walker Books Australia.

Aside from HAM, Jo is also a visual artist. Using photograms and digital imaging she blurs the lines between drawing and photography, fashion and fine art. Recent commissions include artwork for Saatchi Gallery London, Nike, The Berkeley Hotel and Eurostar.

Rabbit in collaboration

HAM has created bespoke Rabbits and packaging for The Body Shop's Forever Against Animal Testing Campaign, dressed the Rabbits in Moncler for their House of Genius Project and made gold leaf artwork for Print Club London, designed a giant mural for kids design shop Molly Meg and installed public art for Design junction Kings Cross x London Design Festival.

Jo has also wrapped a Mini Countryman in Rabbits, styled store windows for retailer West Elm, exhibited at Colette Paris, run a pop-up shop at Topshop's flagship store and created limited edition art prints for the cancer charity Maggie's and the children's charity Rainbow Trust.
